KATIE LEWALLEN

MVMAA President

We’ve celebrated 45 years of service, and we are looking to the future!

The Miami Valley Military Affairs Association has now successfully reached its 45-year milestone, and we are proud to celebrate decades of service, advocacy, and partnership in support of our military community. As we reflect on this achievement, we also look forward with great optimism to continued partnerships with our military community.

MVMAA remains deeply committed to supporting the men and women who serve our nation, as well as the veterans and military families who strengthen our region. MVMAA’s long-standing relationship with our military installations is a source of pride, and MVMAA continues to play a vital role in fostering understanding, collaboration, and advocacy on their behalf.

As we move into 2026, MVMAA is eager to expand our impact. We look forward to engaging more actively with the community, strengthening partnerships across the public and private sectors, and identifying new opportunities to support military missions and quality of life initiatives. Our goal is to build even stronger connections between the military and the communities they serve and protect.

This next chapter is one of growth, collaboration, and renewed commitment. This very much involves YOU! We want to continue the momentum built supporting the Airmen and Guardians on our local installations by providing them with community support while they are stationed here. Share our story, renew your membership, consider serving or chairing a committee. A small investment of your time has a great impact. With the continued support of our members, partners, and community leaders, MVMAA will remain a trusted advocate and resource for years to come.

Thank you for being a part of this journey and partnership. We look forward to continuing this important work together. I am thankful and grateful for the opportunity to serve as MVMAA President this year.
